About the role

Most companies are sitting on data they don’t fully use, and they don’t always know what it’s worth. As an account executive at Tailglow, your job is to show them, and to turn that into business.

You own deals end to end, from the first conversation to the close, with technical buyers who need to see the value before they commit.

What you’ll do

  • Own the full sales cycle for new enterprise customers.
  • Learn each prospect’s data and articulate, concretely, what Tailglow unlocks for them.
  • Partner with our forward deployed engineers to prove value during evaluations.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline, and forecast it honestly.

What we’re looking for

  • A track record of selling data, analytics, or technical products to businesses.
  • The ability to sell the value of data: to make an abstract asset feel concrete and worth paying for.
  • Comfort in technical conversations with engineering and data buyers.
  • Discipline, curiosity, and genuine interest in what customers are trying to do.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to data, platform, or infrastructure teams.
  • Early-stage or founding sales experience.
